Discover Australia

Australia is more than just a destination – it’s a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Whether you’re dreaming of walking along the white sands of Bondi Beach, exploring ancient Aboriginal landscapes, or enjoying a sunset cruise in Sydney Harbour, this country offers something for every kind of traveller.

But before you book your flight or plan your itinerary, there’s one thing to get right — your visa. That’s where we come in.

At BVS Global, we simplify the visa process so you can focus on planning the trip, not stressing over the paperwork.

Do You Need a Visa to Visit Australia?

Whether or not you need a visa depends on your passport and reason for visiting. Here’s how to know what applies to you:

Countries That Don’t Require a Full Visa

If you hold a passport from countries such as the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Singapore, Japan, or most of Europe, you may not need to apply for a full visitor visa.

Instead, you may be eligible for a fast-track digital entry permit:

  • A digital travel permit for tourism or short business visits

  • Available to passport holders from select countries

  • Valid for 12 months, with multiple visits allowed (up to 3 months per stay)

  • Government fee: AUD 20

  • Usually approved in 1–2 business days

eVisitor Visa (Subclass 651)

  • Similar to the above, for European passport holders

  • No government fee

Who Needs a Full Visitor Visa?

If your passport is from India, Pakistan, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, or any other country not listed under the fast-track options, you’ll need to apply for a Visitor Visa (Subclass 600).

This visa is suitable for:

  • Tourism and holidays

  • Family visits

  • Short business travel (e.g. conferences, meetings, exhibitions)

  • Visiting friends or attending events

What You’ll Need to Apply

Here are the common requirements for a visitor visa:

  • A valid passport (minimum 6 months validity)

  • Proof of return travel (flight bookings or onward tickets)

  • Bank statements or sponsor letter to show sufficient funds

  • Travel itinerary or invitation letter

  • A letter explaining why you are visiting and your ties to your home country

  • Proof of accommodation (hotel bookings, host address)

  • Health insurance (recommended)

  • Biometrics or health checks (if required)
